Well tonight was definately not crazy or anything special that much but I kept running into people from high school.  It all started with going to eat at Ricatonis with my parents and the waitress was a girl who I didn't know her name but I recognized her as being 2 graes below me.  We had a short conversation about high school.  Then I run into a girl I graduated with while shopping for toys for my neice at Toys R Us.  Then a random guy recognized me while I was at Books a Million that I have no idea who he is but he obviously went to high school with me.  Then to end the night of recognition, right before leaving BAM I had a nice some what long conversation with someone I actually hung out with while in high school.  For those Rivertown loving people out there, I am talking about Michaella Manning.   All that excitement made me sleepy or it could have been from staying up late last night since all I had to do today was work.  Well I am excited about Thanksgiving and then meeting up on Friday with some high school buddies I have not seen in a long time for a nice round of football.  Everyone should come out to play or cheer us on.  Hope every has a good Thanksgiving and eats a wole lot of food.  I am especially looking forward to pumpkin pie that my grandmother has waiting on me.

Well after 2 months of nothing, I have now updated the blog.  I mean what better thing to talk about then my last two days.  As many of you already know, I went to Rocketown which is in Nashville, TN for those non locals reading this.  The concert was amazingly awesome.  Lucky for me, I preordered my concert ticket becuase I had a feeling it would seel out.  So when I got there, I was given first class treatment of breaking in front of the already extremely long line of people anxiously waiting to see the same bands I came to see.  As I stated before the concert was awesome and so was busting a move during the concerts with some guys that were equally as talented in the field of dance as I am.  I am now ready to go to the Underoath concert in December.  After the concert and some of the youngins left, a group of 9 guys ready for anything went to none other than White Castle.  After a long meal which led to a mini burger being thrown against a window and having our picture made with some random people, 4 of the guys set off to go home while the other hardcore 5 went to the wickity wack Cafe Coco.  After having an adrenaline rush...the drink...which pretty much was 4 shots of espresso with a little latte flavoring and toshi scaring people in his own crazy japanese way, the group was ready to set out and take on Nashville.  Crazy things happened after that....some you have to just be there for and others.....probably should just stay beween the guys that experienced it.  For a good ending statement, I would like you know that I finally got my hearing completely back and my neck is still sore but its still no where close to as bad as after the Freshman 15 concert last year in which I literally could not lift my head up when driving home because my neck muscles were so worn out.  That is all for this edition.  I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did.

Well it is time for a quick update and this just happened to be on my mind today.  If you know the story of Jesus's resurrection, then you will know that when his tomb was found to be empty that the clothes used to wrap his dead body were found to be folded.  At that time period, when a project was complete, the carpenters would fold their aprons and lay them on the finished item.  This showed the customer that it the job was done.  Jesus as you know was trained as a carpenter when he was a boy.  When his tomb was found empty and his clothes folded, Jesus was telling us all that his job was done.  Our sins were all forgiven and the ultimate sacrifice was given.

If you are a christian, then you must believe that your sins are forgiven.  Therefore since your sins have been forgiven, then why is there a need to worry about the trials of the world.  The fact that you are forgiven of your sins should be enough to praise God no matter what else gets in your way and nothing else should be more important enough to bring you down.  You have the greatest gift ever.  Martin Luther once said, "Smite, Lord, smite, for my sin is forgiven; if thou hast but forgiven me, smite as hard as thou wilt."  Once you choose to recieve this salvation, then you have made the most life changing decision ever.  Not even marriage or child birth changes your life as much as that one choice.  Sadly in life you can divorce a spouse and you can even give away your children for adoption.  Salvation is not that way at all.  Once you choose to have it then you are stuck with the decision forever.  I do not know why anyone would want to change their mind on that decision anyways.  So your salvation is permanent and your sins are all forgiven.  You have a guaranteed ticket to heaven.  You will pass Go and collect $200.....if life was monopoly.  Think of it as your get out of hell free card if you want.  But no matter what happens to you in life, remember that you are forgiven and that is all you need to pick up any depressing bad day.

The Bible states that God gave us faith, hope, and love.  It also states that the greatest of these is love.  Why is love the greatest?  Love is our only offensive tool as christians.  The only way to get to someone is to love them and show love to them.  There is nothing harder than someone being nice to you no matter how hard you try to be mean to them.  You cannot win a game with only a strong offense.  God gave us faith as our defensive tool.  No matter what is thrown at you, faith is always there to protect you.  But as in any sport, the team is only as strong as its defense, but you must have a stronger offense than the other teams defense.  Thus love must be the greatest since it is the offensive tool.  Now that we have offense and defense then what is left for hope to be?  Hope is the connection between faith and love.  It is the transition tool.  When your faith has stopped the attacks then it is your hope that causes you to love.  When your love is going strong, then it is your hope that your faith is there to back you up that keeps you going on loving.  Though love is the greatest of these it means nothing with a weak faith backing it up.  So if you are looking for immediate strength gains for your team, then faith should be what you work on.
